George Strachan Chartered Surveyor, the north east based firm launched energy performance business EPCcom on the 21st July 2008 to meet the October 2008 introduction of EPC's for commercial property.
George Strachan Chartered Surveyor, the established north east firm of Chartered Surveyors and Valuers, launched EPCcom on the 21st July 2008 to service commercial property EPC requirements as required by the European legislation, Energy Performance of Buildings Directive. From the 1st October 2008 most commercial property will require an EPC when let or sold.
George Strachan Chartered Surveyor are experienced in the survey and valuation of property and have been involved in the production of EPC's on residential property using RdSAP software since 2006. Commercial property EPC's are produced using sophisticated survey details of building construction types, heating, ventilation, lighting and cooling details processed on SBEM (simplified building energy model) government approved software produced by the Building Research Establishment (BRE).
Enquiries are welcomed from commercial property owners and agents.
